Terms of Service, plain first.

Each section says what it means before the full operating language. This is meant to be readable without hiding the important parts.

Plain-English summaries help explain the terms. The full clause remains the operating text.

What Lobby does

Lobby answers inbound business calls according to the setup, knowledge, calendar, and routing rules configured by the account owner.

The service is limited to inbound call handling, appointment booking, routing, lead capture, account operation, and related support. Lobby does not provide professional legal, medical, financial, or emergency advice.

Plans and billable calls

Plans include a monthly allowance. A billable call is an inbound answered call that connects, is not screened as spam, and runs past the minimum duration.

Missed calls, abandoned calls, screened spam, owner test calls, and calls under 20 seconds are not billed. Calls longer than 10 minutes may count as two units under the fair-use rule.

Recording and consent

Where recording is enabled, callers must receive the required disclosure. Account owners are responsible for regional settings.

Recording and transcription settings are configurable by account and region. The account owner is responsible for using the service in compliance with laws that apply to the business and callers.

Business and caller data

Business data and caller information are used to operate the account, answer calls, capture leads, book appointments, route callers, and meter usage.

Customer data remains associated with the account. Lobby may process it to provide, maintain, secure, support, and improve the service, subject to the privacy policy.

Honest limits

No service is perfect. We avoid promises we cannot stand behind and will explain meaningful changes when they happen.

The service is provided subject to reasonable operational limits, maintenance, third-party dependencies, and customer configuration. Liability limits and dispute terms apply as described in the full agreement.
